A brown-and-white Spanish-language wall newspaper of the U.S. Embassy in El Salvador, with a December 1964 calendar. Photographs show the Warren Commission members with President Johnson, the U.S. chargé d'affaires handing the Warren Report to President Rivera, and new rural schools and school lunches under the Alliance for Progress. The tell is transfer: the embassy's name and the Alliance emblem are attached to school openings and to a report on President Kennedy's death, with selected good news only (card-stacking).

Como actos cívicos especiales en celebración del Ciento Cuarentitrés aniversario de la Independencia de Centro América, el Ministerio de Educación Pública, por medio de su Departamento de Construcciones Escolares, bajo el plan de la Alianza para el Progreso, inauguró dieciocho nuevos edificios escolares que vienen a formar la última fase de la construcción de 92 unidades escolares, diseminadas en todo el país, con un total de 758 aulas que albergan a 30,320 alumnos. Las escuelas recien inauguradas fueron financiadas por el Gobierno de El Salvador, juntamente con una donación de los Estados Unidos otorgada por la Agencia para el Desarrollo Internacional (USAID) por la suma de 3,750,000 Colones. Con una ceremonia especial, celebró la "Escuela Renovada Anita Alvarado," de la ciudad de Cojutepeque, la institución del programa "Almuerzos Escolares" bajo el plan de la Alianza para el Progreso, impulsado por el Ministerio de Educación Pública y la Agencia de Cáritas de El Salvador. Johnson -- Earl Warren, Chief Justice of the United States and head of the Warren Commission, which investigated the facts relating to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, formally delivers the "Warren Commission Report" to President Johnson at the White House in Washington. SACCIO, DELIVERS THE "WARREN COMMISSION REPORT" -- During the morning of 1 October, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the United States, Hon. Leonard J. Saccio, delivered the "Warren Commission Report" to the President of the Republic, Colonel Julio Adalberto Rivera, at the Presidential House, San Salvador. The Warren Commission Report reflects the facts as they occurred in relation to the assassination of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy on 22 November 1963 in Dallas, Texas. As special civic acts celebrating the 143rd anniversary of the Independence of Central America, the Ministry of Public Education, through its Department of School Construction, under the Alliance for Progress plan, inaugurated eighteen new school buildings that form the last phase of the construction of 92 school units across the country, with a total of 758 classrooms housing 30,320 pupils. The newly inaugurated schools were financed by the Government of El Salvador together with a donation from the United States granted by the Agency for International Development (USAID) in the sum of 3,750,000 Colones. With a special ceremony, the "Anita Alvarado Renewed School" of the city of Cojutepeque celebrated the institution of the "School Lunches" programme under the Alliance for Progress plan, promoted by the Ministry of Public Education and the Caritas agency of El Salvador. The "Anita Alvarado" school became No. 650 in the Republic to distribute food to schoolgirls. More than 110,000 Salvadoran children currently receive the benefits of its food, presented by the people of the United States to the people of El Salvador.
