Home Canning: Jars, Caps, Rubbers

Instruction chart numbered 3 in a USDA home-canning set. Photographs of a basket of jars and a hand testing a jar for leaks sit above a labelled row of six jar-and-top types, A to F. A large orange V sits behind the title, tying the kitchen task to the war effort; the technique is faint and the sheet mainly gives directions.
