Join the Navy Nurse Corps
Recruiting poster for the Navy Nurse Corps: a smiling woman in a dark double-breasted Navy uniform and white cap against a pink ground, with the instruction to apply at a Red Cross recruiting station. The technique is faint: the uniform and the smile carry the appeal, with no claim made in words.
