Keep your Red Cross at his side. Give!

A painted close portrait of a helmeted infantryman with a rifle sling, under green foliage, with the headline 'Keep your Red Cross at his side' and 'Give!' beside a large red cross. The soldier's face and the emblem are placed together so the donor's gift is tied to his protection (transfer).
