Rebuild America: roads and bridges infographic

A tall White House infographic, 'It's Time to Rebuild America', with a problem section ('112,000 projects', '700,000 jobs' at risk 'if congressional Republicans don't act'), a falling line chart of highway spending as a share of GDP, and a nine-country bar chart with the United States last. A 'Solution' section describes the president's plan and ends 'spread the word using #RebuildAmerica.' The country set shown is a selection, and the tell is the ordering from highest to lowest with the US at the end.

IT'S TIME TO REBUILD AMERICA

THE PROBLEM

THE FUNDING TO BUILD AND MAINTAIN OUR CRUMBLING ROADS AND BRIDGES IS RUNNING OUT — AND ONLY CONGRESS CAN REAUTHORIZE IT.

WHAT'S AT STAKE IF CONGRESSIONAL REPUBLICANS DON'T ACT?

112,000 PROJECTS
More than 112,000 projects that are currently fixing our roads and bridges

700,000 JOBS
Nearly 700,000 jobs that would be at risk from inaction

HERE'S HOW THIS AFFECTS YOU

65% of America's major roads are rated in less than good condition
25% of our bridges require significant repair or can't handle today's traffic
45% of Americans lack access to transit

AND THE UNITED STATES IS FALLING BEHIND OUR COMPETITORS

In less than a decade, we've fallen from 7th to 18th on the quality of our roads.

THE SOLUTION

THE PRESIDENT'S PLAN WOULD REBUILD OUR INFRASTRUCTURE IN A SMARTER, MORE RESPONSIBLE WAY WHILE SUPPORTING MILLIONS OF JOBS. THAT MEANS:

PROVIDING CERTAINTY that cities, states, and private investors need to break ground on major projects.

INCREASING INVESTMENTS by 38 percent over four years to better meet the needs of a growing population.

REFORMING PROGRAMS to make sure we're prioritizing projects based on how much good they'd do — not on politics.

CONGRESS CAN VOTE TO REAUTHORIZE THIS FUNDING RIGHT NOW, BUT TIME IS RUNNING OUT.

If you agree it's time to act, spread the word using #RebuildAmerica.
