$1.00 in War Stamps from Every American Will Build the Mystery Ship Shangri-La
War Stamps sales poster: an orange block of type states that one dollar from every American will build the 'mystery ship' Shangri-La, above a grey aircraft carrier with aircraft and the lines 'Bomb Tokyo with your extra change'. 'Every American' sets the purchase as a shared act (bandwagon), and the small sum is set against a named, concrete result.
