Content note: Shows an illustrated pin-up of a woman in lingerie. This object is shown as it was published. Why
One pin-up that won't let you down
Illustrated Army conservation poster: a hand in a uniform sleeve pins a notice reading 'Take care of your equipment and it will take care of you!' beside an illustrated pin-up of a smiling woman in lingerie. The pin-up's familiar appeal is borrowed for the equipment message (transfer), and the headline plays on the word 'pin-up'.
