Content note: Protest poster showing a Black man's head squeezed in a juicer by a hand labelled 'Apartheid'; a caricature-style image used against South African oranges. This object is shown as it was published. Why
"Eet geen Outspan sinaasappelen" B.O.A. poster shown at a press conference (Netherlands, 1980)
A man in a 'Boycot Outspan' T-shirt holds up the campaign poster: a giant hand with the word APARTHEID on its cuff squeezes a Black man's head over a juicer, above 'Eet geen Outspan sinaasappelen' and 'Pers geen Zuid-Afrikaan uit!'. The juicer image loads an everyday grocery brand with the stigma of the South African regime that exports it.

Read from a 960 px scan, with the small print above the headline checked at enlargement; the first words of that line are cut off by the man's shoulder and the street number is not legible. On the poster the boxed word APARTHEID sits on the cuff of the squeezing hand. The T-shirt lettering is partly covered by the poster. Translation by Claude, not checked by a fluent Dutch reader.
