Pictorial Review, Volume II, Number 1: arrival of US T-33 jets at Debre Zeit (Amharic-English poster distributed in Addis Ababa)
A bilingual Amharic-English picture-sheet on the arrival of three US T-33 jet trainers at the Haile Selassie I Air Force Training Center, Debre Zeit. Photographs show the aircraft on the apron, a US colonel congratulating a pilot, US and Ethiopian officers and an official standing together, and Ethiopian cadets talking with a US captain. The text quotes an Ethiopian general calling the delivery 'a milestone'. The tell is testimonial: an Ethiopian officer's praise of the US-supplied jets is quoted.
