Pishraft-e Iran wall news poster, No. 45: Shah's land grants (Farsi, Tehran)
A Farsi photo-and-caption wall sheet, 'Progress of Iran' No. 45, on yellow panels. Photographs show the Shah decorating a US naval officer, handing land deeds to kneeling farmers captioned 'Yesterday's farmer, today's owner' and 'Grateful for the Shah's bounty', and visiting a tuberculosis hospital in Mashhad. The tell is transfer: a US Navy visit and US radio times are presented in the same frame as the Shah's land distribution.
