FREEDOM-LOVING men like Ramon Magsaysay derive satisfaction in seeing their fellowmen live in peace, prosperity and happiness. To them, nothing transcends the call of duty-- duty to God and country. IN JUNE 1957, the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation was established to give recognition to outstanding persons in Asia whose lives and activities are characterized by the spirit of service and ideals of Magsaysay.
