(Resisting Aggression) (Korean poster distributed in Korea)

A Korean-language photo poster in black and white. A large photograph of two men in a throw sits beside the headline, with three photographs of Korean soldiers at weapons instruction and on parade. The text says the Republic of Korea, struck by invasion, has built a modern army and now holds more of the front than any other United Nations force. The tell is glittering generalities, with name-calling: 'free world' praise for soldiers and a label for the invading forces.

Resisting Aggression. The Korean people, attacked unexpectedly by Communist imperialist forces, rose up resolutely in their determination to defend their freedom and have come to build a modern military force. The Republic of Korea, which had only a police force for internal security and was at one time dealt an overwhelming blow by the North Korean Communist army, now possesses a strong army [reading uncertain]. The valour of the Korean people shown in extreme adversity draws applause from the free world, and the soldiers of the national army, through new training and a sufficient supply of weapons, have formed an elite force never seen before. [Captions:] These brave young men, bent on destroying the invading army, are trained with the newest weapons at the Army Infantry School. At present the Korean army holds more of the front than all other UN forces. / Outstanding soldiers selected from each front are sent to infantry schools in the United States and receive the latest training for a set period. / As large quantities of weapons are supplied, more recruits are trained every day; after full training and equipment they will go to the front bravely and form an ironclad defence line.
