1967, The Action Year
A photo-montage sheet headed '1967: the year of positive action' says the efforts of the rural people have brought concrete results in the rural reconstruction drive, and calls 1967 the starting point of peace, progress and a good future. Five captioned photographs show road repair, cattle distribution, a village water landing, an irrigation system and a farming and fishing training course. The tell is the pairing of an abstract promise with a short list of development projects offered as the evidence.

1967: THE YEAR OF POSITIVE ACTION Repairing village and hamlet roads to make them handsome. Subsidising cattle so that farmers have more means to work their fields. A clean water landing cools and soothes the hamlet. Developing and modernising the irrigation system bringing water into the fields to stop drought. Opening an agriculture, fishing and livestock training course to teach farmers and fishermen methods of cultivation, fishing and animal husbandry. THE EFFORTS OF ALL THE RURAL PEOPLE HAVE BROUGHT CONCRETE RESULTS. IN THE EFFORT TO REVIVE THE COUNTRYSIDE, NEW CONSTRUCTION PROGRAMMES ARE BEING CARRIED OUT EVERY DAY THROUGHOUT THE TERRITORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM. 1967 IS THE YEAR OF POSITIVE ACTION, THE STARTING POINT OF PEACE, PROGRESS AND A GOOD FUTURE.
