FASCISTI CELEBRATE IN ROME WINNING OF CONTROL IN ITALY Big Procession In Capital City; New Cabinet Ministers Take Oath of Office; Groups of Fascisti Invade Homes of Nitti and Others. Rome, Oct. 31, 12.45 p.m.—Groups of Fascisti to-day invaded the homes of former Premier Nitti, Count Valni, Deputy Nicola Bolbacci, the Communist leader, and Aruro Labriola, the Socialist former Ministre. Socialist literature and other pamphlets were confiscated. Signor Nitti is absent in Southern Italy. Rome, Oct. 31.—Benito Mussolini, the Fascisti head of Italy's new Government, was in his office at 8 o'clock this morning to begin his active work as Premier. An hour later he and his colleagues in the Cabinet were received by King Victor Emmanuel and individually took the oath of office. [...] Twelve Deaths These demonstrations and others which had occurred through the day yesterday led to sporadic disorders in some quarters during which there was considerable shooting with a number of fatalities, a total of twelve deaths being reported.
