A red, black and white Vietnamese-language photo poster headed 'Women's Volunteer Corps'. Photographs show women in Red Cross uniforms taking an oath, receiving certificates and visiting wounded soldiers in hospital. The text says the corps tends the sick and wounded without regard to person, colour, religion or politics and had 128 members. The tell is transfer: the Red Cross emblem and the wife of a general are used to lend standing to the volunteers.

ĐOÀN PHỤ NỮ CHÍ NGUYỆN Tự nguyện an ủi những kẻ đau khổ và thiếu thốn, thăm nom và an ủi bệnh nhân, những thương binh không phân biệt cá nhân, màu da, tôn giáo hay chánh kiến và không lấy tiền thù lao: Đó là nhiệm vụ của Đoàn Phụ Nữ Chí Nguyện Hồng Thập Tự Việt-Nam. Đoàn được thành lập ngày 3-8-1964, do sáng kiến của Bà Nguyễn-Khánh, phu nhân Trung tướng Thủ tướng, hiện nay đã quy tụ được 128 đoàn viên, sau hai khóa huấn luyện, với sự tận tình giúp đỡ của các bà "Áo Xám" Hội Hồng Thập Tự Hoa-kỳ và các bác sĩ Việt-Nam. Bác sĩ Phạm-văn-Hạt, Chủ tịch Hội Hồng Thập Tự Việt-Nam trao cấp bằng cho bà Nguyễn-Khánh, Chủ tịch Danh dự Đoàn Phụ Nữ Chí Nguyện. Women's Volunteer Corps. To volunteer to comfort the suffering and needy, to visit and comfort patients and wounded soldiers without distinction of person, skin colour, religion or political view and without taking payment: this is the duty of the Vietnam Red Cross Women's Volunteer Corps. The corps was founded on 3-8-1964 on the initiative of Mrs. Nguyen-Khanh, wife of the Lieutenant General Prime Minister, and now has 128 members after two training courses, with the devoted help of the 'Grey' ladies of the American Red Cross and Vietnamese doctors. Dr. Pham-van-Hat, President of the Vietnam Red Cross, presents a certificate to Mrs. Nguyen-Khanh, Honorary President of the Women's Volunteer Corps. Mrs. Nguyen-Khanh and all members of the Vietnam Red Cross Women's Volunteer Corps swear loyalty to the corps' humanitarian and charitable principles. [remaining captions not transcribed]
