Hoạt động thân dân của đoàn võ trang tuyên truyền Vĩnh-Long (The Vinh Long Armed Propaganda Team Works With People)
A red-banner photo sheet on the Armed Propaganda Team of Vinh Long province, made up of former Viet Cong who rallied under the Chieu Hoi programme. Photographs show the team walking to remote hamlets, pressing building bricks, rolling ground for a new provincial Chieu Hoi centre and broadcasting by loudspeaker. The text calls the programme generous and humane and says it gives those who strayed with the Viet Cong a chance to return and become good citizens. The tell is the use of returnees as the visible proof of the programme's claims.

Các cán bộ quy chánh võ trang tuyên truyền cũng đã đúc được nhiều gạch ép "CIWARAM" để tiết kiệm ngân khoản xây cất Trung Tâm Chiêu Hồi Tỉnh và bán ra lấy tiền bỏ vào quỹ của Trung Tâm. Các cán bộ quy chánh võ trang cũng tự tay trải đá, cán nền Trung Tâm Chiêu Hồi vừa được thiết lập tại Tỉnh Lỵ Vĩnh-Long. Các hình thức nổi như phát thanh lưu động cũng được đoàn cán bộ quy chánh võ trang tuyên truyền triệt để áp dụng trong công tác hàng ngày. SP-1081
CIVIC ACTIVITIES OF THE VINH-LONG ARMED PROPAGANDA TEAM The Chieu Hoi policy of the National Government has been proven through its generosity and humanity, with the aims of: — Bringing affection to dissolve hatred, carrying out the line of adding friends and reducing enemies, and promoting national feeling. — Creating an opportunity for those who strayed in following the Viet Cong to have the chance to return to the just cause and reform themselves into good citizens. The team's activities go deep into remote and secluded areas, because the people there have not yet had the chance to understand thoroughly the humane Chieu Hoi Policy of the National Government. The armed-propaganda ralliers have also moulded many pressed "CIWARAM" bricks to save money in building the Provincial Chieu Hoi Center, and sell them to put the money into the Center's fund. The armed ralliers also laid stone and levelled the foundation themselves for the Chieu Hoi Center newly established in Vinh-Long provincial capital. Open forms such as mobile broadcasting are also applied thoroughly in the daily work of the armed-propaganda ralliers. SP-1081
