Anba' Moussawarah (Pictorial News) No. 33/54: News in Pictures (illustrated news sheet distributed in Beirut)

A photo page headed 'News in Pictures' and dated in its footer August 19, 1954 (News Review). It shows Iraqi and Egyptian officers on tours of U.S. military sites, a Boeing jet transport, an oil tanker, a wheat shipment handed to the Governor of Libya and a Nigerian child after surgery. The tell is card-stacking: the items chosen are U.S. military, trade and aid links with Middle Eastern and African countries, presented without any other news.
