BIEN HOA IN ACTION RELIEF FOR FIRE VICTIMS The scene of desolation after the fire, which damaged 128 households of our compatriots in Tan Sinh Cat-Lai hamlet, Phu-Huu commune, Nhon-Trach district. The Lieutenant Colonel, province chief of Bien Hoa, came to the fire site to console the victims and hand relief gifts to them in person. The Minister of Social Welfare, the Lieutenant Colonel province chief of Bien Hoa and the military, civilian and administrative delegation contributed to rebuilding work for the fire-victim compatriots. Food and cooking utensils were sent on the spot to relieve the fire-victim compatriots. An old man is moved on receiving gifts, including clothes, cloth, pots, a pan and food sent by the Government. The Minister of Social Welfare, representing the Government, gave each victim family a small sum of money, showing the authorities' help for rural compatriots. The victim compatriots were invited to receive gifts distributed by the authorities. Corrugated iron sheets and palm leaves were also sent on the spot to help the victims avoid sleeping in the open. The Lieutenant Colonel, province chief of Bien Hoa, is talking warmly with a fire-victim family.
