Britain's R.A.F. of the Future in Training Now
Three photographs show Air Training Corps boys beside an aircraft, repairing a component and on parade, with a Union Jack badge reading 'For Freedom'. The tell for bandwagon is the claim that 'hundreds of thousands of British boys volunteer'; the tell for glittering generalities is the unspecified 'for freedom' and 'great part' wording.

Text on the object
BRITAIN'S R.A.F. OF THE FUTURE IN TRAINING NOW (Above) Preparing for a flight at an A.T.C. Training Camp. (Below) Boys of the A.T.C. busy on full-scale reconstruction work. (On right) An Air Training Corps unit on parade. EVERY BRITISH SCHOOLBOY who joins the Air Training Corps dreams of becoming the pilot of a "Spitfire." But there are many other jobs to do in the R.A.F.—all of them as important in their way as being a fighter pilot. So hundreds of thousands of British boys volunteer, before they are 18, for technical training of all sorts. And a great day comes when, at the A.T.C. Training Camp, they actually fly! Britain's youth is playing a great part in the record mobilisation of Britain's manpower. [badge:] FOR FREEDOM [code:] F.D./F.5
