Building in An Giang
A photo poster headed 'Works built by the people in An Giang' shows a concrete footbridge, a larger bridge under construction and new school buildings with crowds of children. The text says villagers of Phu-Hoa village built these themselves, with funds and technicians supplied by the Government of the Republic of Viet-Nam, as part of aid to areas already pacified. WORKS BUILT BY THE PEOPLE IN AN-GIANG The works the compatriots see here were all built, or are being built, by the people's own efforts in Phu-Hoa village, Chau-Thanh district, An-Giang province. The Government of the Republic of Viet-Nam supplies the funds and technical specialists needed for these construction works. The works above fall within the government's aid for compatriots in places that have been pacified. The reinforced-concrete bridge for compatriots to cross has been completed. Another, wider bridge, which vehicles can cross, is being built. New classrooms have been and are being built in AN-GIANG
