The 25 Club [9]: War Savings Stamp booklet, August 1945 page and 'What Your War Savings Do for You'
A booklet spread with an August 1945 calendar page urging 'Buy at least one stamp each week!' beside a text page, 'What your war savings do for you'. The text states $24.00 of stamps return $30.00 at maturity (3% compounded semi-annually), no income tax on the gain, and that certificates are a direct obligation of the Dominion of Canada. The tell for card-stacking is selection: the page lists the return, tax treatment and post-war purchasing, with no mention of risks or of purchasing power, though it does state its own figures.
