Official sample ballot, Crimean status referendum of 16 March 2014
Annex to the Supreme Council of Crimea's resolution of 6 March 2014: a ballot in Russian, Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar with two options, joining Russia as a federal subject, or restoring the 1992 Crimean constitution and Crimea's status as part of Ukraine. A ballot with neither or both marked is invalid. The tell is the choice set: neither option is the constitutional arrangement then in force, and there is no way to vote for neither.

Typed document, fully legible. The Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar texts are transcribed as read and have not been checked by a Ukrainian or Crimean Tatar reader; the translation covers the Russian text, and the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar lines are presumed to say the same. The Ukrainian heading is printed 'Бюлетень' once with a single 'л', as in the source.
