Elagu suur Stalin, võitnud sotsialismi konstitutsiooni looja! (Long live great Stalin), Estonian SSR poster, 1950
A retouched portrait photograph of Stalin in uniform sits inside a laurel wreath topped by a star, above a gilt scroll with an Estonian-language slogan. The tells are the virtue words 'great' and 'victorious' standing in for any testable claim, and the wreath, star and scroll that lend the portrait ceremonial prestige.
