Epikaira Illustrated monthly poster, No. 91 (Greek, Athens, February 1957)
A Greek-language photo-news sheet, the February 1957 issue (91) of the monthly 'Epikaira Eikonografimena', laid out as a grid of captioned photographs. Features include the presidential inauguration oath, a map of a non-stop B-52 flight around the world, a diagram of a research reactor planned for Greece and a tour by the U.S. ambassador. The tell is card-stacking: the sheet gives only items favourable to the United States and its Greek and NATO partners, and it transfers the standing of allies and ceremonies onto U.S. policy.
