The Government Helps Rice Farmers
A green-and-white photo sheet (code SP-1097) describes seed-rice distribution under Kien Hoa province's 1966 rural improvement programme: 100 tonnes for four districts and a plan to farm 2,000 mau in two seasons instead of one. Photographs show a province chief carrying a sack of seed to farmers, a stack of sacks at a ceremony, and an official explaining that pumps can be borrowed during the growing season. The sheet shows the provision of aid and gives the numbers it chooses to give.

The Kien Hoa Agriculture Service plans to farm 2,000 mau of fields in two seasons instead of one. 100 tonnes of seed rice will be distributed to Thanh Phu, Ba Tri, Binh Dai and Ham Long districts.
