Help smash Hitler now! Invasion of Europe
Metal-salvage and mining poster: a drawn soldier in a helmet, pistol in hand, points back at a tank crashing through a brick wall marked 'Invasion of Europe'. His speech balloon reads 'Look! That's where we need every ton of metal you can mine and smelt!' The tell is the soldier's direct appeal, which moves urgency from the battlefield to the miner and smelter.
