Housewives! Save waste fats for explosives!
Home-front salvage poster addressed to 'Housewives': a hand with a dishcloth tips a frying pan, and a long thread of cooking fat runs down into the breech of a field gun that fires in a cloud of smoke, with soldiers beside it. The line from pan to gun links a kitchen chore directly to artillery, a transfer; the printed instruction is to take the fats to the meat dealer. This is a different design from the OWI Poster No. 63 on the same subject.
