Protection to home industry 1888
Colour lithograph for the Republican ticket. Oval portraits of Benjamin Harrison and Levi P. Morton sit under an eagle and a flag, with a third portrait of William Henry Harrison labelled "The Log Cabin 1840" above a log cabin; two raccoons flank a scroll reading "No free trade for us. The same old coon." The log cabin and the 1840 portrait borrow the earlier Harrison campaign for the grandson (transfer), and the cabin and raccoons stage a homespun frontier identity (plain-folks).
