Republic of Vietnam: Special Issue on the National Day (Consulate General in Hong Kong, 1968), cover
A cover prints 'Republic of Vietnam' over a map in which the whole territory from the Chinese border to the Ca Mau peninsula, Hanoi and Saigon both marked, is shaded one colour as 'Viet-Nam', beside a red-and-yellow striped band. The tell: the map omits the 1954 demarcation line and shades the northern state as part of the territory named in the title, selecting one claim of sovereignty as the only one shown.
