No Cannon Shells Without Zinc!, 1939 UK poster: A British fighter with RAF roundels dives past a German aircraft

No Cannon Shells Without Zinc!

A British fighter with RAF roundels dives past a German aircraft with swastika tail and crosses falling in flames, with an inset of a foundry worker pouring metal, above 'No cannon shells without zinc!'. The tell for transfer is the aerial victory scene attached to a metal-supply appeal; the link from zinc to the kill is asserted by layout, not explained.
