Salute the Soldier
A painted view from behind a helmeted sergeant shows an artillery crew loading a gun in a yellow haze, under the title 'Salute the Soldier'. The tell for transfer is the title: the respect owed to the gun crew is the frame in which the savings committees' request is meant to be read; a large blank area was left, apparently for local overprinting.
