United We Are Strong, United We Will Win
Poster showing a bank of gun barrels flying the flags of the Allied nations (including the Union Jack, the Stars and Stripes and the Soviet flag) against a fiery sky, under the words 'United we are strong' and 'United we will win'. Transfer: the Allied flags are pinned to the guns, so national symbols carry the military force. Glittering generalities: 'united' is offered as a virtue, with no policy specified.
