A NEW AND BETTER LIFE FOR THE PEOPLE OF BINH LONG PROVINCE The Binh Long Provincial Joint Social-Medical Committee has been working to help thousands of Vietnamese and highland compatriots settled in the new-life hamlets. The social-medical teams, made up of local authorities, American civil-affairs officials and the American aid agency, have visited the hamlets and distributed food, clothing and medicine to the people. They have also instructed the local people in methods of hygiene.
