Phu Yen Chieu Hoi Center Offers a Start Toward a New Life
A landscape sheet of seven black-and-white photographs under a blue headline shows the Phu Yen Chieu Hoi (Open Arms) reception centre: a mother and baby, the main building, a water barrel, table tennis, a lecture hall, vegetable plots and new huts under construction. Captions say the rallying soldiers ('Hoi Chanh Vien') live in peace under the Government's protection. Các Hồi Chánh Viên trồng trọt phía sau Trung Tâm để có thêm thức ăn cho riêng họ. Để mình cùng gia đình có nơi ở thoải mái hơn các Hồi Chánh Viên đã xây cất thêm những nhà cửa mới tại Trung Tâm. PHU YEN CHIEU HOI CENTER OFFERS A START TOWARD A NEW LIFE! Over the past few weeks the Phu Yen Chieu Hoi Center has carried out construction and repair of houses and barracks. When finished, this Center will be the best place for you Hoi Chanh Vien [ralliers] while starting a new life under the protection of the Government of the Republic of Vietnam. Many ralliers have brought their families to live at the Center. This mother and her small child live in peace and freedom under the Government's protection. This is the main row of buildings of the Phu Yen Chieu Hoi Center. Here, clean water helps the health of the ralliers. Ralliers also enjoy entertainment such as table tennis, films and radio at the Center. Study sessions led by Republic of Vietnam officers help the rallier brothers understand the Government's policy better. The ralliers grow crops behind the Center to have more food of their own. So that they and their families have more comfortable places to live, the ralliers have built more new houses at the Center.
