BENEFITS OF THE RURAL CONSTRUCTION PROGRAMME Rural Construction cadres have completed work improving living conditions in nearly 25 hamlets in Phu Yen province. The R.C. cadres are now working in many other hamlets and their work will be completed next year. The result will bring the people a more secure and more prosperous life. What has been achieved in Dong My hamlet, Hieu Xuong district, can stand for the harvest of results to come in thousands of hamlets across the whole country. Dong My is one of the hamlets that has enjoyed the benefits of the Rural Construction programme. Trade has begun to bustle at the market thanks to the allied forces and the R.C. cadres protecting security. Another project carried out by the R.C. cadres is the bridge, which has improved traffic for Dong My hamlet. The people have water to use thanks to the well dug by the R.C. cadres. The people of the hamlet all live comfortably and happily. Here the hamlet chief Nguyen Huynh Duc is chatting with a vendor.
