E.D.2 THOUSANDS OF TANKS IN THE MIDDLE EAST WAR ZONE FOR FREEDOM "GENERAL LEE" TANKS are part of the growing reinforcements which are arriving in Egypt to strengthen the British forces there. This tank is attached to a famous Hussar regiment. During the bitter fighting in this latest desert campaign, in which great numbers of German and British tanks have been engaged, many enemy tanks have been put out of action and thousands of prisoners taken.
