'Hin nyjasta steypisprengivjel Bandaríkjanna' [The Newest Dive Bomber of the United States] (America's Newest Dive Bomber [Icelandic])
A photograph of a US Navy aircraft in flight over farmland sits above an Icelandic text block, a US flag and a portrait of President Roosevelt, all framed by a blue border of stars. The flag, stars and president's portrait lend national authority to the aircraft (transfer), and the text lists only its strengths: longer range, heavier bomb, doubled factory output (card-stacking).

Text on the object
ROOSEVELT, FORSETI
THE NEWEST DIVE BOMBER OF THE UNITED STATES The dive bomber of the United States is one of the newest defence weapons of the fleet. The United States fleet was the first to begin dive-bombing, and this machine, of which a picture is shown above, shoots farther and has a heavier bomb than any other such machine anywhere. Airship [aircraft] factories in the United States have recently doubled and are still increasing. ROOSEVELT, PRESIDENT
