32 MERITORIOUS RETURNEES WIN AWARDS "Thanks to the help of the local authorities and the active work of the Chieu Hoi agency through loudspeaker flights and appeal leaflets, the results in the first 4 months of 1966 are very encouraging. There have been 93 returnees in Kontum province, most of them highland guerrillas. 28 weapons of various kinds, including one mortar and 2 light machine guns, were brought back by the returnees." The meritorious returnees receive prizes presented by a representative of the people. 32 returnees appear before compatriots of all walks of life.
