Current Events in Quang Ngai
A landscape news-sheet headed 'Current events, Quang Ngai' reports a province advancing against the Communists, with a front-line victory named 'Lien Ket 81', 44 rural construction cadre teams, and village council elections held in 39 villages with 85 percent of voters taking part. Six photographs show a flag ceremony for the best cadre team, officers meeting cadres, a polling queue, a woman casting a ballot and a pumpkin plot. The tell is the participation figure and the 'good news' roundup offered as the province's general condition.
