'Do your duty bravely. Fear God. Honour the King.' Lord Kitchener postcard (about 1914)
A lettered postcard sets Kitchener's instruction 'Do your duty bravely. Fear God, Honour the King.' on a panel under a crown and crossed flags, above warships firing into a rising sun. The tell is the attribution line 'Lord Kitchener', a named authority whose vouch is the message, and the stacking of crown, flags, God and navy around a plain order.
