Sư Đoàn 21 Bộ Binh Việt-Nam Cộng-Hoà chiến thắng Việt-Cộng (ARVN 21st Infantry Division Crushes the VC)
A portrait sheet (code SP-1416) reports that on 2 to 4 September 1966 the 21st Infantry Division of the Republic of Vietnam routed a Viet Cong battalion and several local units, with 308 Viet Cong killed, 26 captured and 190 weapons seized. Photographs show a helicopter assault, a machine-gun position, seated prisoners and a display of captured heavy weapons. A caption says these weapons can no longer terrorize the people, and the tally gives only enemy losses.

SƯ ĐOÀN 21 BỘ BINH VIỆT-NAM CỘNG-HOÀ CHIẾN THẮNG VIỆT-CỘNG Ngày 2-3-4 tháng 9-1966 Sư Đoàn 21 Bộ Binh Việt-Nam Cộng-Hoà đã đánh tan rã Tiểu Đoàn U-Minh 10 Việt-Cộng, đại đội du kích quân Giồng-Riềng, đại đội C. 520 và đơn vị hậu cần Tỉnh Ủy Bạc-Liêu, Ba-Xuyên. Dùng một chiến thuật tân kỳ, các chiến sĩ của Sư Đoàn 21 Bộ Binh đã tấn công địch. Các chiến sĩ Việt-Nam Cộng-Hoà đang chờ đụng độ với địch. ● Một số tù binh Việt-Cộng bị bắt trong cuộc hành quân Dân-Chí 261/SD. TỔN THẤT ĐỊCH : Nhân mạng : 308 Việt-Cộng chết 26 Việt-Cộng bị bắt. THE 21ST INFANTRY DIVISION OF THE REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM WINS VICTORY OVER THE VIET CONG On 2-3-4 September 1966 the 21st Infantry Division of the Republic of Vietnam shattered the Viet Cong U Minh 10 Battalion, the Giong Rieng guerrilla company, Company C.520 and the rear-service unit of the Bac Lieu and Ba Xuyen Provincial Committee. Using a new tactic, the soldiers of the 21st Infantry Division attacked the enemy. Soldiers of the Republic of Vietnam waiting to engage the enemy. ● Some Viet Cong prisoners captured in Operation Dan Chi 261/SD. ENEMY LOSSES: Casualties: 308 Viet Cong dead 26 Viet Cong captured.
