Chiến thắng của Sư đoàn 9 Bộ-binh, 1966 US poster: A blue-ink Vietnamese-language sheet reports a Long-Phi operation

Chiến thắng của Sư đoàn 9 Bộ-binh (Victory of the 9th Infantry Division)

A blue-ink Vietnamese-language sheet reports a Long-Phi operation by the 9th Infantry Division on 31 January to 1 February 1966 in Vinh-Binh province that it says wholly broke up a Viet Cong F-15 battalion. Photographs show a smiling soldier with a captured weapon, four seated prisoners, a group with seized arms, and bodies on the ground; a box lists 78 enemy dead and the weapons taken. A caption says the Viet Cong hid 'like rats' but did not escape capture.
