The Sky Brightens Again
A photo-story poster (code SP-1760) tells Viet Cong members that ralliers in Binh Tuy are living 'a happy, comfortable life' with work suited to their abilities. Eight photographs show named ralliers as a gardener, tailor, mechanic, coal-kiln owner, carpenters, a Chieu Hoi office clerk and members of armed propaganda teams. The sheet pairs a named individual with each claim of livelihood and omits any risk or hardship.

THE SKY BRIGHTENS AGAIN The dark days are over. The rallier brothers in Binh Tuy, who have returned to the nation's just cause, are living a happy and comfortable life. They have jobs suited to their abilities, have become financially self-sufficient and are contributing to the building of the country. Mr. Nguyen Ca, formerly a Viet Cong village guerrilla, is now living in peace and contentment with his wife and seven children in a pretty house. He has a plot of land to farm for a living. After rallying, Mr. Nguyen Hy was sent by the Government of the Republic of Vietnam to a tailoring class in Saigon. Now he owns a sewing machine and earns enough to support his family comfortably. A number of ralliers have joined the Armed Propaganda teams to help call on Viet Cong elements to return to the National Just Cause. Mr. Do Nhuong, 52, a veteran former Viet Cong cadre, is now the owner of a charcoal kiln. He awoke when he realised that the Viet Cong had exploited his abilities to do wrongful work. Mr. Do Thanh Hong has just finished lower secondary school and is now a staff member at the Provincial Chieu Hoi Service. He has just married and is living in happiness and pride. Nguyen Nam, 16, and Pham Hon, 17, have been given government scholarships to study as specialist mechanics. Now the two are living a comfortable and contented life. Mr. Van Tu and Dao Duy Luong, two former Viet Cong cadres, learned carpentry after rallying. A bright future awaits the two.
