Tran Van Nuoi Returns to a New Life (Anh Trần Văn Nuôi đã trở về... với cuộc sống mới)
A Chieu Hoi poster (code SP-1615) tells the story of a named Viet Cong guerrilla, Trần Văn Nuôi, who rallied on 29 October 1966, in photographs of his surrender with two weapons, a cash reward of 3,200 piastres, a shared meal, a reading room and a new Chieu Hoi village. The tell is the sequence: one named individual is shown being received, paid and housed, and the poster does not show any cost or other outcome of rallying.

Ngày về hồi chánh, anh Nuôi đã mang theo 2 khẩu súng (1 Thompson, 1 Carbine) 2 lựu đạn và 3 băng đạn. Sau đó anh chỉ điểm cho tiểu đoàn 7/ dù, quật phá một hầm chôn dấu lúa gạo của bọn Việt Cộng. Anh được các cơ quan Quân Dân Chính tiếp đón nồng hậu và được ông Phân vụ trưởng Chiêu hồi Quảng Trị trao số tiền thưởng 3200$ về số vũ khí mang về hồi chánh. Tại phòng sách báo Trung tâm Chiêu hồi anh em hồi chánh nam nữ đang chăm chú xem sách báo, tài liệu trong những giờ giải trí. Anh Nuôi và các bạn hồi chánh khác đang vui vẻ dùng cơm tại Trung tâm Chiêu hồi. Quang cảnh làng Chiêu hồi Quảng-Trị gồm 37 nóc nhà vừa được dựng lên trong đợt 1, có đủ chỗ ở cho 188 người. Nơi đây người hồi chánh sẽ hưởng được một đời sống thoải mái chuẩn bị cho một tương lai tươi sáng. SP-1615
MR. TRAN VAN NUOI HAS RETURNED... ...TO A NEW LIFE. Responding to the government's Chieu Hoi policy, on 29-10-1966 Mr. Tran-Van-Nuoi, a V.C. guerrilla member of Nhat-Le hamlet, Cam-Lo district, returned [rallied] to the 7th Airborne Battalion at Cam-Lo, Quang-Tri province, after months and years of mistakenly serving as a slave to the communists. On the day he rallied, Mr. Nuoi brought with him 2 guns (1 Thompson, 1 Carbine), 2 grenades and 3 magazines. Afterwards he pointed out to the 7th Airborne Battalion a hidden pit of Viet Cong rice and paddy, which was dug up. He was warmly received by the military, civil and administrative agencies, and the Chief of the Quang Tri Chieu Hoi Branch handed him a reward of 3200$ for the weapons he brought in. In the reading room of the Chieu Hoi Center, male and female ralliers are attentively looking at books, newspapers and documents in their leisure hours. Mr. Nuoi and other ralliers happily eating a meal at the Chieu Hoi Center. View of the Quang-Tri Chieu Hoi village of 37 houses just built in the first phase, with room for 188 people.
