A Warm Welcome for Two Hoi Chanh in Phuoc Tuy District

The text says they returned to the government side in June 1967 and received many foodstuffs after meeting their families. The tell is the picture of reunion and gifts as the visible outcome of rallying, with no mention of what questioning or conditions followed.

HAI HỒI CHÁNH VIÊN ĐƯỢC TIẾP ĐÓN NỒNG HẬU TẠI QUẬN TUY PHƯỚC Nguyễn-Văn-Thi, nguyên bí thư Thanh niên quận Tuy-Phước và Nguyễn-Hữu-Mai, nguyên văn thư Huyện-ủy Việt Cộng quận Tuy Phước, đã trở về với Chính Nghĩa Quốc Gia vào tháng 6 năm 1967. Qua bức hình trên Đại ý Phạm-gia-Tùng Quận Trưởng Tuy-Phước đang tiếp đón nồng hậu 2 bạn Thi-Mai. TWO RALLIERS GIVEN A WARM WELCOME IN TUY PHUOC DISTRICT Nguyen-Van-Thi, former Youth secretary of Tuy-Phuoc district, and Nguyen-Huu-Mai, former clerk of the Viet Cong District Party Committee of Tuy Phuoc district, returned to the National Just Cause in June 1967. In the picture above, [Captain] Pham-gia-Tung, Tuy-Phuoc District Chief, is warmly welcoming the two friends Thi and Mai. Right after meeting their families and relatives again, they were given many foodstuffs by Captain Tung to begin a life full of newness and happiness. SP- 2031
